This is why religion is ridiculous.
I am not for oppressing religion, but it belongs in the churches not in government.
I also believe in taxing these billion dollar institutions.
It does belong in churches, and not in government...but no, they should not be taxed. You don't tax God/Allah/Yahweh/Buddah/Confucious/Jehovah/Ra/etc...
Phil, no you can't tax mythical characters, but you can tax the market created around them.
Tax them...just like every other business..because that is all they are is marketing firm.. Beside religious leaders are always asking for equality...Let them have it.
Nah, the last people you want to tax are churches and religious organizations. If we're ever going to get people to look elsewhere for aid and assistance besides the government, churches are one of the main sources of such aid.
Plus, they are much more efficient than the government at providing aid to the needy.
