Barack Obama is good for a quote, that's for sure.
In a recent FOX News article, Obama made a statement that should definitely resonate with disillusioned voters who are tired of partisan politics as well as younger voters who feel that politicians don't recognize them or their views.
"There's no doubt that we represent the kind of change Senator Clinton can't deliver on. And part of it's generational," Obama told FOX News." Senator Clinton and others have been fighting some of the same fights since the '60s. It makes it very difficult for them to bring the country together to get things done. And I think that's what people hunger for."
While I may not agree with him on many issues, I think there is quite a bit of truth in that statement.
Speaking of his stance on issues, I would like to see how he proposes to go through with this "American Dream" agenda that involves both increased spending and tax cuts...
According to his plan, Obama would offset payroll taxes for average Americans and remove taxes on Social Security for retirees now making less than $50,000 a year. He wants to provide tax cuts up to $1,000 for working families, expand the Family and Medical Leave Act, create a fund to prevent foreclosures, reform bankruptcy laws and enroll workers in portable retirement accounts.

Obama is funny - he's of the same generation as Hillary!
I thought Obama was considered one generation "later" than Hillary.
She's 60, he's 46...I can see a possible generation gap there.
Let us not put all 60+ people in the same bag. A person is not a socialist or Liberal because of their age and the events that happened during their younger years. Please remember that all we want in our politicians is a truthful statement on each and every issue. Who they are based upon their age, gender or race is secondary.
What we are not getting is the full disclosure of their beliefs and plans as leaders of our country.
Newt Gingrich is one of the few pundits that actually expresses his point of view based upon his beliefs. Whether you agree or not with his position, at least you understand where he stands on each issue. I wish every politician was as forthcoming.

To put all 60+ people in the same bag would obviously be ridiculous. I'm referring to those who were part of the hippie and pro-leftist crowd (who were usually college-aged, around 20-25) during the mid-to-late 1960's...they're now around the age of 60.
Those liberals are who Obama is talking about. I do see what he's talking about when he refers to Hillary's generation of Democrats.
However, I don't believe I can totally buy what Obama's "younger" generation is selling, either.
