Some Celebs Disagree With Immigration Bill

Apparently, a trio of celebrities have spoken out against the amnesty bill being brought back to life in the Senate. This is no ordinary group of C-listers, either. We're talking Arnold Schwarzenegger, legend of the silver screen Al Pacino, and the delectable Jessica Alba.

Alba, in a recent interview, expressed how she doesn't feel it would be right to be labeled a "Latin" actress, even though some people do, because she doesn't speak spanish. She states that she is "American", because she speaks english and had an American upbringing...she knows her heritage and is proud of that, but considers herself an American first. I can completely relate to that, and I agree with that sentiment.

Read about it over at Michelle Malkin.

There is nothing in this post about the immigration bill. To the contrary, the celebs all talk about speaking English and feeling American despite their heritage. Of the three, only Arnold is a first generation immigrant. Pacino is second and Alba third generation. They illustrate what many of us have been saying about the immigration bill ... which requires all immigrants to learn English and travel an arduous path to earned legalization ... this bill will result in Americans like Alba, Pacino and Arnold.

If you're going to "use" ethnics to make your point, try telling the truth.

There isn't one word in the post on these three (which Malkin clips, and you further excerpt)about whether they do or don't support the immigration bill:

If you have to mislead to win an argument, there must be something weak about your position.

I know that these celebrities have also espoused some anti-amnesty sentiments.

If I get the time, I'll post some more links. However, to say I'm misleading in my point is misleading in itself.
