Americans Split on Obama's 1st Year, View Him Less Favorably

Some interesting numbers that don't look good for "Barry from D.C."...

Quinnipiac Polls...
- Quinnipiac has a poll that states that Americans are split 45%-45% on whether or not Obama's first year was a failure.
- Another poll has voters nearly tied at 35%-37% on whether or not the country would've been better off with John McCain as President (I say we would've been better off, but not by a whole lot).
- Also, according to Quinnipiac, only 41% of Americans favor Obama's economic management, as well as only 34% favor his efforts to create jobs and 35% support his handling of health care.

CBS News Polls...
- CBS News polls show that only 36% of Americans favor Obama's handling of health care. Down from 42% in December and 47% in October.
- Obama's job approval rating hit a new low for CBS News polls, at 46%.

CNN/Opinion Research Polls...
- CNN/Opinion Research has Obama's health care handling favorability rating down to 40%, down from 42% in October and way down from 57% in March.
- Also, their polls reflected that Americans are 48%-47% in favor of labeling Obama's first year as a failure.

Did you really need a poll to tell you that?

His candiancy was doomed for a let down from the start..Unless he was GOD (maybe anticirst but not god). The bar that he had set was way too high....
There is no chance either of these canadite would have been done any better, economically atleast. Obama is doing a far better job in turning a free market sysetem in to a communist country...(babysteps thru socialism)

O well Socialist America is under way, I have been trying to talk the wife into moving over sea.. I thinking some were nice...Maybe France...then again that would be no change.

I remember stating Nader in 08 multiple time...should have listened

Right, because Nader isn't further to the left than Obama.

Actually, if I were to move overseas, I'd probably go to Japan. I find their culture (a mixture of honor and tradition with extremely modern, fad-driven aspects) to be very fascinating. Their government seems to be very "small-government socialism", from what I can gather. Just an interesting place.

I was thinking China maybe I can succeed where google failed.

Could you imagain the change you would see from Dem and Republican if a 3rd party canadite one...Plus nothing would have been accomplished because not supprot for the house and Senete

Honestly, with the amount of member-hemorrhaging going on from both parties, don't be surprised if a viable 3rd (or even 4th) party comes about...waaaay too many independents out there who are dissatisfied with both parties.

The is a fundmental flaw with haveing a 3rd party...I will let you ask..

Hint it involves either the right or the left

Can you guess?

I'll give...what is it?

If you only have a 3rd party it is going to inheriently take vote way from the Dems or the Republians.

Which mean the other party has total control. If you have a 3rd you need a 4th to counter the 3rd affect.

Then nothing would get accomplished because nothing can get accomplished with two parties.
